MOTION FOR AN ORDER PERMITTING THE DEFENDANT TO BE INTERVIEWED

BY A DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ADDICTION PREVENTION RECOVERY ADMINISTRATION (APRA)

Defendant, , by and through undersigned counsel, hereby moves this honorable Court for an order to permit him to be interviewed at the D.C. Jail by a designated representative of the District of Columbia Addiction Prevention Recovery Administration (APRA). Undersigned counsel has had preliminary discussions with government counsel, and based on those discussions is pursuing potential in-patient substance abuse program options for Ms. xxxxxx. An initial interview and assessment by a representative from APRA would help facilitate the process of locating a suitable in-patient facility. Ms. Hollis of APRA has confirmed with counsel that the Administration must receive a signed Order before it will send its designated representative over to the Jail to conduct the interview.

Respectfully submitted,
